Idea 2 / Not adopted

Make the decision visible before the vote

An idea the County may use freely: residents should see what is proposed, what rule applies, and when a decision will be made, without first filing a records request.

What a resident would see

  1. At intake: a public project page with the applicant, site, scale, water and power claims, status, and deciding body.
  2. Before hearings: the review pathway, staff and legal analyses, application changes, and source documents in one dated record.
  3. After workshops: a response showing what residents asked, what changed, and what did not.
  4. At decision: the agenda, materials, votes, findings, and follow-up posted beside the earlier record.

These are editorial concepts, not a drafted County resolution. No specific deadline, radius, disclosure rule, or County legal authority has been adopted or checked for operative text. Compare the source-backed procedures in the linked study before choosing any mechanics.
